November’s Wellness Walk features Sheralyn Schmidt, MMFT: “Making Space – A Forest Walk to Breathe, Ground, and Receive.”
As the holiday season approaches, many women find themselves holding more—more expectations, more tasks, more emotions. This guided reflective walk invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself through mindful outdoor movement. Experience the grounding benefits of nature as you release what you’ve been carrying and make space to receive calm, clarity, and presence before the busyness begins.
We’ll begin with a brief introduction, then move into our experiential walk, closing by warming up together in community. Come as you are, dress for the weather, and leave with a lighter heart and a clearer mind.

Each month’s “Wellness Walk” will include 30-45 minutes lecture on a themed topic in a seated location, and then 15 minutes of movements in the forest with a licensed practitioner / therapist.
