Functional Lab Testing

Understand your body. Unlock your health.

Functional lab testing uncovers the root causes of imbalance, giving you a clear path toward personalized, lasting wellness.

Looking Deeper for Answers

Functional lab testing goes beyond routine bloodwork to uncover the root causes of health imbalances. By analyzing key biomarkers related to digestion, hormones, metabolism, inflammation, and nutrient levels, these advanced tests provide a deeper understanding of your body’s unique needs.

At Uptown Integrative Health, we use cutting-edge functional testing to assess factors such as gut health, food sensitivities, adrenal function, toxin exposure, and more. This information allows us to create personalized treatment plans that restore balance, optimize vitality, and support long-term health.

Why Functional Testing?

The biggest advantage of naturopathic functional testing is its focus on root causes, not just symptoms. By identifying imbalances before they develop into more serious conditions, we can:

  • Take a proactive, preventive approach to your health

  • Create a clear, individualized roadmap for treatment

  • Empower you with deeper insight into your body’s needs

  • Support long-term wellness rather than short-term fixes

A Whole-Person, Preventive Approach

Functional testing aligns with core naturopathic principles: treating the whole person, working with the body’s natural healing power, and using education as a foundation for lasting wellness. By combining advanced diagnostics with individualized care, we help you better understand your health and take empowered steps toward balance and vitality.

Take the Next Step

Naturopathic functional testing is more than diagnosis — it’s a pathway to personalized, preventive health care. Whether you’re dealing with ongoing symptoms, looking to optimize performance, or simply wanting a clearer picture of your well-being, functional testing offers valuable insights to guide your journey.

How It Works

Here’s what to expect on your IV therapy journey with us — from your first consultation to ongoing care designed to support your long-term wellness.

Initial Functional Lab Testing Consult

This 30-minute appointment is for patients who already know which functional lab test they’d like to pursue — such as food sensitivity, stool analysis, or SIBO breath testing. If you’re unsure which test is best for your needs, we recommend booking a full initial consult to help guide the right choice for you.

Your Functional Medicine Test

Your ND will review the test with you, including collection instructions. If the sample isn’t collected in the clinic, you’ll take the kit home, complete the collection, and ship it directly to the lab.
